In order to clearly state our professional standards and a
fuller understanding of our relationship with clients, we observe the
following code of practice in the conduct of our business: 1. Information
concerning the affairs of our clients is treated as strictly confidential and
divulged to candidates only within limits agreed with clients. 2. We
work only on an assignment basis, where we are retained to work on behalf of
client companies. 3. We
will only proceed with assignments after full briefing by the client and with
their agreement to our proposed methods and terms of business, which in all
cases will be set out in writing. 4. We
only work on behalf of clients on an exclusive basis. We will not accept an assignment with
a client where another recruitment firm is carrying out an assignment to fill
the same position, nor where any other means of recruitment are being
simultaneously employed. 5. We
will always work with the utmost discretion and professionalism to satisfy
our client's recruitment needs. 6. All
candidates short-listed for any position as part of an assignment remain at the
disposal of the client concerned until they are either appointed or dismissed
from consideration. All
short-listed candidates will have been briefed at interview on the position
and the client company. 7. We
make no charges whatsoever to individuals who are placed in employment with
our clients. 8. We
will never approach an individual who has been appointed to his or her
present position as a result of one of our assignments, regarding any other
position elsewhere. 9. We
will not approach any employee of a client for a minimum period of one year
after completion of the most recent assignment for that client. 10. Should
any candidate employed by a client through one of our assignments, leave or
be found unsatisfactory by the client within six months of joining that
client, then we will undertake to submit further candidates, with a view to
recruiting a replacement. 11. We
will only make charges agreed to by the client in accepting our proposal. |
